http://forums.homeless.org.au/ - A moderately useful site for homeless people. The forums are good for moral support.
Yahoo car living group. - Excellent self help group and community.
Web sites
http://cheaprvliving.com/ Bob W's excellent web site covering a large number of aspects of living cheaply in a van or small self built RV. This is one of my favorites.
Van Dweller. Probably the best and most comprehensive web site I've ever seen about living in vans. Brilliant site with great articles about all aspects of van living. His page about van living is essentially an e-book on a huge number of aspects of choosing a vehicle, converting a vehicle and living in one.
http://www.phrannie.org - Phred Tinseth's web site, home of the brilliant 'poop sheets'. RV related, but heaps of information for car dwellers.
Wikibook - on van living. A user contributed web site about van living.
Carliving.net - Craig S Roberts web site about his book. He has lots of information in the book but he comes across as a bit of gun crazy guy.
Elmo Mackinnon. - An interesting web site about living in vans and 'house trucks'. A bit out of date. His 'poop' sheets though are full of very useful information.
Rocking van. A great little one page web site about living in a van.
Asleep at the Wheel. - Great article
by William R Alford.
I found this to be a great read. An honest, down to Earth story of a guy who
lives in his car, some of the ways he's tried to better himself and get work
and problems he has encountered living in cars or vans. His advice about using
gas burners in cars though is very worrying, as it clearly is risky and could
cause you to die from carbon monoxide or gas poisoning. That said, everything
else is brilliant.

An extremely well written Blog by Anya, a formerly homeless woman who spent
nine months living in her car in London. Verified by New York Times reporters
and the subject of a few other media reports.
Advantages of being homeless Blog A great Blog that is packed with great information on being homeless. I found this Blog to be one of the most useful on the net. I really like his non violent approaches to many situations involved in car living.
Hoopty Life - An excellent web site by a fellow sister of the road. One of the two best sites about living on the road.
http://www.hobostripper.com - Stories from a woman who lives in her van and "dances nekked" for a living.
Cubey's Adventures in living - A Blog by another fellow van dweller. Nice and informative. He also tests stuff and gives opinions on them, such as his portable laundry.
Freedom Van - Anther female van dweller! We're spreading! Just started out van dwelling. She also travels with her cat.
